You will have highly competent specialists, therapists and nurses at your disposal in the three medical fields of orthopaedics including traumatology, rheumatology and sports medicine, neurology including neuropsychology and internal medicine including cardiology, diabetology and angiology.

Approvals

Application for a possible reimbursement guarantee by your insurance company. The treatment spectrum of the m&i-Fachklinik Herzogenaurach comprises all clinical-inpatient measures in the medical fields of orthopaedics, neurology, internal medicine (cardiology, diabetology and angiology) to be performed within the scope of an inpatient or follow-up treatment.

Acknowledgement by statutory social insurance providers:

• Health insurance: provision contract in accordance with § 111 SGB V and § 108 (3) SGB V in connection with § 109 SGB V (German Social Code)
  
• DRV German Statutory Pension Insurance Scheme federal/state and other pension insurance companies
  
• Accident insurance: admission to the BGSW procedure (inpatient follow-up treatment approved by the employers’ liability insurance association)
  
• Outpatient rehabilitation
  
• Outpatient department for physiotherapy and physical therapy
  
• Outpatient department for occupational therapy
  
• Outpatient department for speech therapy
  
• Outpatient department for (neuro)psychology
  

The eligibility for subsidy is determined in accordance with the subsidy regulations of the Public Service. The clinic is approved of as combined inpatient and outpatient medical institution in accordance with § 4 clause 5 MB/KK by the Association of Private Health Insurance Funds (PKV). We recommend all patients insured by private health insurance companies to have the defined benefit for an inpatient treatment confirmed by their health insurance companies in written form prior to the commencement of the inpatient treatment.

If necessary, direct accounting with your insurance company is possible if this is intended in the reimbursement guarantee of your health insurance fund or private insurance fund.
The m&i-Fachklinik Herzogenaurach is licensed in accordance with § 30 Industrial Code and is subject to supervision by the Public Health Office of Erlangen.

The conclusion of a treatment contract is required for every private medical service (treatment by the chief physician and/or comfort or premium equipment). This is concluded between the patient and the m&i-Klinikgesellschaft in Herzogenaurach GmbH.

Information on accounting
The physician and treatment costs are accounted for in accordance with the Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ).
The listed prices include the costs for medication, a convenient accommodation including board (normal diet, dietary food and other types of diets), the nursing service, the use of a swimming pool as well as general services. The treatment by a specialist and the care by nurses are ensured round-the-clock, even on Sundays and public holidays.

Accompanying persons: It may be beneficial for your treatment success to be supported and accompanied by a relative.

A stay in the m&i-Fachklinik Herzogenaurach is only possible in connection with medical examinations and applications. The aforementioned terms apply accordingly in case of a private therapeutic stay.
